The Gomecsys VCR technology with unique 720 Degree Engine Cycle
The Gomecsys VCR technology is an all new patented Dutch Engine technology. Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are 18% lower "without downsizing" compared to “normal” gasoline engines.
This spectacular lower fuel consumption is achieved because the Gomecsys VCR technology uses a specific piston movement every 720 crankshaft degrees, thus optimized for all 4 engine strokes. A normal engine has a piston movement that is the same and repeating every 360 crankshaft degrees and cannot be modified in any way.
The Gomecsys VCR uses an eccentric between the crankpin and the bigend of each conrod. This eccentric is driven with a gear.
The Eccentric with gears
When the crankshaft rotates, the eccentric will be forced into a rotation by the gear. Since there is an eccentric between the conrod and the crankpin, the pistons are not only pushed up and down in the normal way, but they are also being moved by the rotating eccentric. The eccentric rotates around the crankpin with half the speed of the crankshaft.
