Explaining the GoEngine with unique 720 degree engine cycle

The GoEngine is an all new patented Dutch Engine technology. Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are 30% to 50% lower compared to “normal” gasoline engines with the same power output. This spectacular lower fuel consumption is achieved because the GoEngine uses a specific piston movement every 720 crankshaft degrees, thus optimized for all 4 engine strokes. A normal engine has a piston movement that is the same and repeating every 360 crankshaft degrees and cannot be modified in any way.

The GoEngine has an additional part between the crankpin and the bigend of each conrod. This solid part consists of two eccentrics and a gear, as seen in the picture below.

The Eccentricgear

When the crankshaft rotates, this part will be forced into a rotation by the gears. Since there is an eccentric between the conrod and the crankpin, the pistons are not only pushed up and down in the normal way, but they are also being moved by the rotating eccentric. There eccentric rotates around the crankpin with half the speed of the crankshaft.
